This jar of green peas will be at church on 7th, 14th and 21st May.

How many peas do you think are in the jar?
Clue 1: There are enough to make dal for 15 people.
Clue 2: It is not a prime number.
For a suggested minimum donation of £1 a guess, you can contribute to this year’s Christian Aid Week appeal.
Christian Aid Week this year has a focus on peas and beans, staple foods in many countries that are feeling the effects of climate change: lower and more erratic rainfall, hotter and dryer weather, leading to reduced harvests. Christian Aid is supporting farmers’ groups in Malawi and elsewhere to develop new varieties and farming methods that will help them adapt to the changing climate. The Big Pea Challenge is raising funds to promote drought-resistant ‘pigeon peas’ in Malawi.

You can let Chris Garforth know your guess(es) by writing them on the donation form in the vestibule. You can donate in cash to Chris or through Chris’s Just Giving page by scanning the QR code or visiting:
